OUR STORY
Welcome to Bungabee Springs Wilderness Camp
We are a family run cattle property & mixed farming, practicing regenerative agriculture.
We have been welcoming campers since 2019.
We traded our city life for the farm life in 2018 as we always wanted to raise our children on the farm.
In doing this we also had a vision in mind to welcome others to enjoy what nature has to offer and learn about farming with a natural approach and regeneration of the land.
In doing this Bunagbee Springs Camping was born.

We have travelled all over Australia and camped in some amazing places.
After our trip to Cape York conquering the Telegraph Track and making it to the tip,
we knew it was time to sell up and make the move to the country.

When we found this property it was a no brainer that this was the life for us.
The farm is over 100 years old and was originally used as a dairy farm on more than 500 acres.
The best thing about this land is it still has most of its natural landscape, old forest growth
with stunning rock features, subtropical rainforest to bushland a seasonal creek that comes to life after the rain and not to mention lookouts ridgeline with fantastic westerly sunsets.
This is not your ordinary farm. It's diversity has many advantages and we aim to keep it's natural landscape work with it and regenerate to maintain it's natural resources.

We have off grid camp sites across the property in our 3 locations at
Scrubby Creek, Gum Tree Gully & Lookout Camps.
Camping without the crowds. The way camping should be.
At Bungabee Springs you can relax at camp and take in nature, 4WD Bungabee State Forest, hike Bunagbee nature reserve, explore the farm on foot
or visit some of the local attractions the Northern Rivers has to offer.
So what are you waiting for?
We look forward to welcoming you with country hospitality.

Great getaway, totally private, unbelievable views, sunsets, stars, wildlife and farm animals, it had it all. The host went above and beyond. Will recommend to all and definitely coming back.

Lookout Camp
We visited Bungabee Springs in Oct 2019. We needed a quite camp site away from other campers to suit our dog's needs. We had a fantastic spot, a nice open area beside tall trees which gave us much appreciated shade during the day. By night, we enjoyed watching the fireflies!!

Gumtree Gully Camp
Stayed at Lookout Camp. Fantastic spot. Very secluded. Towed a camper trailer into site with ease. We will be back.
